R. E. Cooke operate from a modern factory in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, servicing clients in the military, automotive, aerospace, rail and electronics industries.
Their specialist services include design, laser cutting, punching, robot-welding, bending and machining and they can work with virtually any metal. They also offer a wide range of finishing services and products that can be delivered as manufactured, powder coated, silk- screen printed, electro plated or engraved.
R E Cooke’s commitment to quality and reliability ensured their increased success and growth and had led to their need for improved operational capabilities. They already had a computerised business system in place but, although it was functional, it needed updating. It could no longer manage their internal business processes as efficiently as a growing company requires and so they took the decision to invest in a Production Control System.

A five user system with a Data-Capture Touch Screen was installed in July 2001. Users underwent 10 days training on the system which was then fully operational within three months.
